Ingredients / Paps

Using our products as cooking ingredients, it is no longer necessary to start from the beginning. For example: Instead of cleaning, soaking and cooking beans, with our dehydrated cooked beans you only need to rehydrate and season them for use as a side dish or to prepare a stew. All our Ingredient products do not contain extra flavouring. Once they are rehydrated, they are ready to eat or to be seasoned and added to your final stew or meal. They are Non-GMO and Kosher.



Beans: They are ideal for chefs that would rather season beans to their hearts content without need to do all the basic bean cooking preparation. Also when they will be preparing a Stew that requieres beans as an ingredient such as a bean soup. Download Bean Product sheet.

Chickpea, broad bean, lentil or pea: To prepare dishes such as hummus eliminating the need to clean, prepare and cook the seed. Only add seasoning and extra ingredients.

Paps:

We prepare paps of the same seeds:

1. Bean
2. Chickpea
3. Broad bean
4. Lentil
4. Pea

All our paps are without conservatives. Once rehydrated, they are ready to eat. Besides the specific seed, only a little salt is added. This is done such that kids start correctly distinguishing the specific flavours of seeds and other foods. However, it is posible to enhance them as required including adding vitamins or minerales.

Seasoned Beans

Our seasoned beans are seasoned in the traditional Mexican way and are ready to eat. However, we have found that some industrial kitchens or the food service industry some times preferres a pre-seasoned bean as a staring point to only add the final seasoning touch. All our seasoned beans do not have conservatives, are Non-GMO and are Kosher. Once rehydrated, they are ready to eat. Download Bean Product sheet.

Seasonings:

Intermediate level:
1. Black, bayo or pinto seasoned at an intermediate level (Traditional Mexican: garlic, onion, salt and vegetable lard)

Note: With seasoning at an intermediate level, it is still posible to add extra seasoning. However, its taste is good and can be eaten as it is.

High seasoning level (Plus):
2. Black, bayo or pinto “Plus” seasoning level (Traditional Mexican: garlic, onion, salt and vegetable lard)
3. Bayo or pinto with Chipotle chile.

Note: They can also be seasoned without vegetable lard.

We also can season them to ours clients specification:
The seasoning and its ingredients are developed with the clientes’ chefs to achieve the desired color and taste.

Sauces for stews

Using our sauces as an ingredient for cook your stews, it is no longer necessary to start from the begining. It is no longer necessary to first prepare the sauce to then prepare the stew. Using our sauces it is now posible for your cooks to focus in preparing the stew since rehydration the sauce to apply it to the stew takes only a few minutes. Seasoned Rice

Our pre-cooked rice is already seasoned and requires an additional 25 minutes of cooking to be ready to eat.
